Running commentary....how do you write a scene where seven people have three different conversations and no-one actually hears what's being said; where two people are groping under the table and the intended gropees are not being touched; where, 80k+ words into the story, I might actually figure out what the plot is?? There was a point this morning where I contemplated staying in bed. I got up - bad move. Lurk away – you never know who’s out there.
