Running commentary….how do you write a scene where seven people have three different conversations and no-one actually hears what’s being said; where two people are groping under the table and the intended gropees are not being touched; where, 80k+ words into the story, I might actually figure out what the plot is??
There was a point this morning where I contemplated staying in bed. I got up – bad move.

So I’ve managed to set this up and now need to figure out how to use the blessed thing…it appears that for the moment I’m replying to myself.
